The checker
The checker reads your video’s metadata in your browser. Your video, its name and its metadata are never sent to us.
What we collect when you leave your email
- Your email address.
- The form you used (for example the waitlist or the test report).
- When you agreed, and which version of the consent text you saw.
The sign-up form uses your IP address only to slow down repeated sign-ups; it is not stored. We use no tracking cookies. Your light or dark theme choice stays in your browser.
How we count visits
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are read, which site visitors come from, and their country, device type and browser. Cloudflare states that it uses no cookies or local storage for this, and does not fingerprint visitors by IP address or user agent. Cloudflare Web Analytics. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful.
Why, and on what basis
To email you when exports open and when Apple changes the creative asset specs. We send nothing before those events. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe, and at most three years after your last sign-up.
Who processes it
Cloudflare hosts this site and the database. Cloudflare states that it stores information mainly in the United States and the European Economic Area, and that it relies on its EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework certification, and on standard contractual clauses if that certification lapses. Cloudflare and the GDPR.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict your data, receive it in a portable format, object to its use, or withdraw your consent, by writing to contact@headloop.app. You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
When the editor opens
The video editor, which is not available yet, will use a session cookie and will delete uploaded files automatically. This policy will be updated before it opens.
